One of the most common questions I get is ,”What supplements should I take?” There are so many out there, it may be hard to decide. Each supplement has a different purpose. I’ll share my favorite supplements and break down why I use and recommend each one.

1- Protein

In my opinion, nothing is more beneficial for you than a good, QUALITY protein supplement. These can come in powder form or a ready-to-drink liquid. If you’re not consuming enough protein, it can cause problems ranging from hunger to body swelling, to mood swings.


To ensure I’m getting what my body needs with my training, I aim to eat about 120-150 grams of protein a day. That’s a lot of protein and its hard to get it all by consuming meats and nuts, so I turn to using protein supplements. Here are some of my favorite proteins to use

2-Pre-Workout

If you do purposeful workouts, have goals, and are looking to build muscle, recover and take care of your body, then I HIGHLY recommend using a pre-workout. 3- BCAAs

BCAAs are branch chain amino acids. Amino acids are good for several things, primarily useful for muscle building (recovery). You can get amino acids by eating eggs, and meat but sometimes, that isn’t enough. To ensure I’m getting all the amino acids I need, this is what I use

4-Multi Vitamin

According to recent studies, most Americans don’t get enough Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, and Vitamin E.
